Donate Your Boat!

Do you have too much boat and too little time? Consider donating your pride and joy to Piers Park Sailing Center . A donation could benefit you and hundreds of young and disabled sailors.

Piers Park Sailing Center has an active boat donation program. We may use your donated vessel in one of two ways:

• Put your boat into service within our programs
• Find a buyer and use the proceeds to enhance our ongoing youth programs

Since we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, boat donations are tax deductible. It is often advantageous for a boat owner to donate a vessel and use the tax deduction rather than go through the process of selling the boat outright. Knowing that a donation will support free sailing programs for city kids often tips the balance on the decision whether to sell or donate a boat.
