Racing Program
PPSC hosts racing on most Friday nights throughout the summer and most Saturday mornings in the fall.Anyone can join in as the atmosphere is intentionally causal and collegial rather than super competitive. The idea is to spice up your sailing life without adding to your weekly stress. Racing is also a great way to build your skills quickly.
All members may race on Friday nights for no additional fees. Non-members may join in for $10 per evening. We also have a barbecue every Friday evening, the cost is $5.
To guarantee your spot on a Friday night racing boat, both members and non-members should be sure to sign-up by Wednesday each week. Include your name, the date you want to race, and a phone number so we may confirm with you. You may also reserve a boat by calling us at 617-561-6677.
The skippers meeting occurs each Friday at 5:30 PM with the first gun at 6:00.
In the Fall the racing moves to Saturday mornings with skipper's meeting at 9:30 AM and first gun at 10:00.
